About The Raven Collections

Life is constantly changing. With change comes opportunity with new paths to follow to regenerate and grow. This kind of change has come to Main Street in Norway, Maine. The renovation of the Norway Opera House has given a dynamic opportunity to the community. And what better place to have a rock shop?

Surrounded by the Oxford Hills, steeped in the lore of mining, who doesn't know of tourmaline and beryl? But there are hundreds of different formations of beautiful and fascinating specimens. At The Raven we want to explore these and we want to share them with you. We want to build a collection locally and from worldwide creations and learn more of this ongoing process of change and how we can protect it.

The Raven is committed to creating a business that customers can enjoy, where they can share their knowledge and interest, and where they can become knowledgeable about this wonderful world, it's incredible treasures, and the constant changes that are fascinating and exciting.

The shop will be full of crystals, rock specimens, fossils and artifacts. At The Raven Collections, the Rook family of birds are known for their fascination of bright shiny objects. The raven, according to Native American lore, is a positive omen for new beginnings.

So please join us on our journey of new beginnings for The Raven Collections, Norway's Main Street and the Opera House. We look forward to exploring it all with you.
